Men's Basketball Falls On Sophomore Day

Prior to the contest, the following Sophomores were honored for their contributions to the SUNY Broome men's basketball program: Ponce Williams, Dejon Williams, Braeden Davis, Wyeth Lamont, Paul Ajak, Isaiah Sanders, and Ya'Siin Bacchas.
The Hornets and Panthers played a highly-competitive first half, with Tompkins Cortland leading just 41-37 at the break. Then, Tompkins Cortland ran away with it in the second half by outscoring SUNY Broome by 18 points.
12 of the 13 Hornets who registered minutes in the contest scored. Xavier Thomas-Davis led with 10 points. Just behind was Sanders with nine, and P. Williams and Lamont each had eight.
The Hornets fell to 9-14 on the season with the loss.
