The women's volleyball team fell to Corning CC and Onondaga CC at a Tri-Match hosted by Corning on September 20.
The Hornets took on the host Red Barons in their first match of the day and were defeated 3-0. The set scores from the Hornets' point-of-view were 19-25, 20-25, and 20-25.
Nevaeh Masso led SUNY Broome in kills in that match with 13. Lea Ackley led the team in assists with 14, while Kendra Terrell contributed six.
SUNY Broome then took on the Lazers of Onondaga CC in its second match of the day, losing 3-1. The set scores of that match were 26-24, 12-25, 10-25, and 17-25. After taking the first set, the Hornets lost the next three.
Masso again led SUNY Broome in kills, this time with 12. Amariah Argro added eight kills while Cecelia Cole added seven. Terrell had 14 assists and Ackley had 11. Katie Christian had a match-high 16 digs.
