Masso earned the NJCAA Volleyball Division 3 Offensive Player of the Week recognition by averaging an impressive 4.8 kills per set and a .500 hitting percentage in a 3-2 win over Mohawk Valley CC last Saturday.
Across five sets, Masso collected 24 kills and had two service aces in 44 total attempts, which gave her the .500 hitting percentage. Masso was especially dominant in the decisive fifth set, when the Hornets were in need of a victory after winning the first two sets of the match but then allowing Mohawk Valley to take the next two.
In SUNY Broome's 15-8 win in the fifth set, Masso had five kills in seven total attempts and didn't commit an error, compiling an elite hitting percentage of .714.
