The men's soccer team closed out its season with a 5-1 loss on the road against Hudson Valley CC on October 22.

The men's soccer team closed out its season with a 5-1 loss on the road against Hudson Valley CC on October 22.
SUNY Broome scored first in the contest with a goal by Corey Cottrell on an assist from Jacob Sansom just four minutes in. Hudson Valley answered just two minutes later to even the score at 1-1. The Vikings closed out the first half with two more goals in a three-minute span, netting scores in the 38th and 41st minutes, to take a 3-1 lead into halftime.
Hudson Valley later tacked on to its lead in the 50th minute and the 80th minute.
The Hornets registered five shots in the contest, three from Cottrell and one each from Sansom and Ibrahim Berte.
Andriy Grave and Tyler Whiting split time in the goal, each logging 45 minutes of play. Grave allowed three goals while making five saves. Whiting surrendered two goals and made three saves.
SUNY Broome ended its season with an overall record of 1-13, going 1-12 in NJCAA Region 3 play and 0-6 in Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) play.
