The men's soccer team played host to nationally-ranked #6 Mohawk Valley CC on Wednesday and was shutout 8-0.
The visiting Hawks netted seven goals in the first half and then added one more in the second half to secure the win.
SUNY Broome generated just three shots on the day, two by Aiden Argento and one by Charles Larrabee.
Goalkeeper Elliot Weinreich made nine saves in goal for the Hornets.
SUNY Broome falls to 1-6 on the season. The Hornets will be back in action next Wednesday for a home game with conference rival Tompkins Cortland CC.
