An early 30-11 advantage after the first quarter set the tone for the Herkimer win.
For SUNY Broome, Adrianna Finta was the lone player in double figures for scoring. She logged 13 points and added four rebounds. Natalie Andi was next in line with six points and seven rebounds.
SUNY Broome fell to 1-6 with the loss. The Hornets will be off until Januray 11, when the team will visit Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) rival Tompkins Cortland CC.
