The Hornets found difficulties shooting the ball, connecting at clips of 25.5%, 13.3%, and 58.3% from the field, three-point range, and free throw line, respectively.
Despite outrebounding Northampton 41-34, SUNY Broome was forced into 39 turnovers in the loss.
Nnyala Stark posted her second double-digit point total of the season as she was the Hornets' leading scorer with 13 points. She also had a team-high six rebounds.
Zephora Brouillette was next in scoring with eight points, adding five rebounds. Juliana Turner had five points and five rebounds off the bench.
SUNY Broome fell to 1-3 on the season with the loss. The Hornets will look to rebound on December 3 when they visit SUNY Orange (Orange County Community College) at 6:00 p.m.
