Santino Michitti from the baseball team is the SUNY Broome Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of March 23 through March 29, 2026. Across six games on the week, Santino hit 6-13 (.462 average) with 4 doubles, 4 RBI, a run, and a walk. He was especially impressive in leading the Hornets to a split of a doubleheader vs Mohawk Valley on March 24. Michitti is off to a hot start through the first 10 games of the season with a .360 average, 9 RBI, and 5 runs scored.
